Sparking meaningful change in 2024
At 84.51°, we believe in doing good, not just talking about it. In 2024, our associates turned their skills into solutions, supporting local charities and creating meaningful impact across communities. From innovative problem-solving to targeted giving, we're proving that data science and compassion can go hand in hand. Here is a recap of our Living Our Purpose highlights from 2024.
In 2024, we published our first-ever Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report, Good 360°. The report was a comprehensive overview of how we’re doing good for our associates and communities – from our unique benefits to our DEIB commitment and sustainability initiatives. While the report was an overview of 2023, it served as an annual check-in on our progress.
It is one thing to say, and another to do. At 84.51°, we don’t just say “we make peoples’ lives easier,” we actually do.
At this year’s annual all-company offsite, Area 51, more than 1,200 associates were broken into groups to support six different charitable partners: American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, La Soupe, Off the List, Save the Animals Foundation and Zero Hunger | Zero Waste. Their mission: to offer a solution to one of three unique challenges presented by each charity using their individual skills.
The challenges embodied a breadth of outcomes ranging from creating marketing initiatives, generating customer loyalty, building new processes, optimizing and automating workflow, data collection and more. After nearly four hours of brainstorming and idea generation, the teams presented their pitch in front of charity partners and 84.51° business leaders. Certain ideas rose to the top – and one team from each group was deemed the winner.
Since the September event, the winning teams have been hard at work. After forming their teams, they scoped the work with their charity partner and have begun fleshing out their project’s roadmap. With the support of an 84.51° business leader to champion their work and remove any roadblocks – they will use their fearless hearts to relentlessly deliver their solution.
84.51° has continued to prioritize DEIB and food security as part of its corporate giving strategy. This came to life with several sponsorships in 2024 – including an ongoing partnership with a local female empowerment event, and a new opportunity for both in-office and remote associates to give back.
Every woman deserves to be seen, heard and loved. That is the foundational belief of the Power to Pursue Summit – an annual event where women gather to eliminate barriers and embrace the power of their authentic selves.
84.51° was once again a proud sponsor of the third annual summit held in Cincinnati on May 10. Georgette Angulo-Ramirez participated in the “Ascending Women” panel focused on women who are progressing in their industries and ensuring that they bring others along in their journey. She shared her personal journey of her steady career ascension that brought her to her current role as VP, Merchandising Analytics & Strategy Team. Georgette reminded the audience that strategy should not been viewed as something only reserved for top execs – it is a key element we need to use at every stage of our career and our personal lives.
For the first time, 84.51° was a corporate sponsor of 9/11 Day – a National Day of Service led by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created by family members of 9/11 victims in the wake of the September 11th tragedy.
This day of giving back aligned perfectly with our Living Our Purpose initiative because of its tie-in with food security and its inclusive nature. The nonprofit partnered with local Feeding America-affiliated food banks – ensuring all the food stays local and reaches those most in need of it. Since the event took place in 21 cities across the U.S., it was inclusive of many geographies outside of Cincinnati and Chicago. This allowed 48 associates across 6 cities to participate.
At 84.51°, we don’t just give back to the charities that align to the company’s purpose. We are proud to continue supporting the charities that mean the most to our associates – whether they have a personal connection to the nonprofit or firmly stand by their mission. This year, we provided employee grant stipends to 24 charities, including:
American Heart Association: Cycle Nation
ArtsWave

Boone County Sheriff's Auxiliary
Chair Force 1 Foundation

Our associates have demonstrated that true impact comes from turning skills into solutions, and compassion into action.
